is it possible to have a good for the economy muscle car?


or is that asking for too much. I love American muscle but i also like to keep the earth safe and not breathe in smoke from the muffler.

    The TV Show "Pimp My Ride" featured the resto-rodding of a beat up old Chevy with environmentally friendly materials and a hot-rodded turbocharged Diesel V8 putting out as much as 800 hp on biodiesel. They showed it drag racing a Lamborghini and winning. For normal use, they detune it to only (?) 400 hp so that it gets over 30 mpg.
